All About Piranhas!
The Piranhas Swim Team is a recreational swim program designed to give swimmers of all levels the opportunity to learn and improve stroke technique under an age group format and to apply those skills in competitive situations.
The team’s goal is to maintain a high quality swim program that emphasizes building self esteem, camaraderie, good sportsmanship, and team spirit. The team includes swimmers ages 7 to 18 and focuses on teaching the physical and mental skills needed to participate and compete as part of a recreational swim team. At the same time, we strive to create a fun, social environment where swimmers and their families can enjoy the sport and develop a sense of community that lasts beyond the season.
Practices are held at the Tom Muehlenbeck Recreation Center, home of the Plano Piranhas.
